Hello!

I have a problem in my AD, after removing a file server that was as AD
member.
I can no longer put any computer in the domain.
In the Samba 4, run a command like wbinfo - u. wbinfo -g, samba-tool user
list and it works, but when I type samba_dnsupdate --all-name
--verbose generates
the following error:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/opt/samba/sbin/samba_dnsupdate", line 631, in <module>
get_credentials(1p)
File "/opt/samba/sbin/samba_dnsupdate", line 123, in get_credentials
raise e
RuntimeError: kinit for SRV-AD$@FAN.COM failed (Preauthentication failed)

The computer that are in the field working normally, but I can not enter
more computer in the domain.

Are the dates/times the same on the network? Also are you using internal
dns or BIND?

Can you navigate to the domain controller like, \\dcname? Also do the logs
tell you anything? Is bind running? Samba? etc?
I mean to join the network.
I have this network, nearly 120 computers.
Already does this AD since 2014 without giving problem. Only now emerged.
Unfortunately I had no backup.
I try to access the domain to manage via RSAT and does not work.

When you say put computer in domain do mean join? And are you sure the
computer isn't already in AD? How many DC's are on this network?
Jason, thanks for answering.
The time is right, both computer server.
Use the Bind9.
samba-tool dbcheck --cross-ncs --fix --yes
samba-tool dbcheck --reindex
samba-tool dbcheck --reset-well-known-acls --fix --yes
samba-tool dbcheck --force-modules
samba-tool ntacl sysvolreset
Rebuild another server and restored the Samba 4.
Use the 4.4.4 version of Samba.
Thanks again.
